This pair of hood hinges is a direct replacement for all models of the 1963 Ford Falcon & Mercury Comet. In addition, the hoods on all models of the 1960-1962 Ford Falcon & Mercury Comet were held up with a prop rod. This pair of hood hinges with springs are also a direct bolt in for these models and will allow you to get rid of the cumbersome prop rod.
The hinges are coated in cosmoline and will need to be thoroughly cleaned before installing.
